The Options+ Leisure Discount Scheme

What is Options+?

Options+ is a discount scheme that makes leisure activities in Dudley affordable for everyone. It offers significant savings to residents and non residents.

What do I get?

If you fit into one of the concessionary groups listed below, the following activities at Crystal Leisure CentreDudley Leisure Centre and Halesowen Leisure Centre are half price:

  • Public swimming and swimming lessons, Lifestyles gyms including induction, fitness classes (facility run) badminton, squash, table tennis and racketball, coaching courses, four day advance booking for selected activities. A 50% discount is also available when using the running track at the Dell Stadium

Am I eligible to join? 

You don't have to live in the Dudley borough to benefit from Options+. If you fit into one of the concessionary groups listed below you can apply for the scheme, just remember you'll need one of the eligibility proofs listed for your category.

How long does the membership last? 

The membership last 12 months, after which customers will need to renew.

Can I use my membership straight away?


How do I apply?

You can apply by calling into any of the leisure centres listed below during normal opening hours: 

  1. Click on the Options+ Leisure Card Application Form (printable version), fill out and print off.

    Please note that the Options+ Application form produces a PDF to be printed and returned and that the PDF will not load if you are using a pop-up blocker - you may need to allow pop-ups for dudley.firmstep.com

  2. You will need to bring with you proof of address (i.e. a recent utility bill with your name and address)

  3. You will need to bring with you proof of eligibility.

Please note that photographs will be taken of you at the leisure centre that issues your card, therefore everyone applying for a card (including dependants) must appear in person.

Do not post the form as it as photographs need to be taken at the time of application.

Will my partner/children be eligible?

Dependants of the main applicant will be eligible under all categories except for full time students, modern apprentices and Armed Forces Veteran. Dependant children must be under 16.

Please note that everyone applying for a card, including dependants, must appear in person to apply.

Adults £3 and Under 16's £1.50 to join.

What is a Dudley Targeted Postcode?

These neighbourhoods have been classified as areas of deprivation within the borough. Those applicants whose postcode is in one of these areas will be eligible to Options+.

What is the Carers Network?

Social Services have a Dudley Carers Network for carers who provide care and support to a family member or friend who has a long term illness or disability. Those listed on the Carers network are eligible to the Options+ scheme.

Can I apply even if I live outside the borough?

Yes, for all categories except Child in Residential Care, Dudley Targeted Postcode and Carers Network. 

Dependants of the main applicant will be eligible under all categories except for Full Time Students, Modern Apprentices and Armed Forces Veteran. Dependant children must be under 16.
