HOMEHousing

Housing

We help people to lead fulfilled and independent lives in homes of their choice in safe and active communities.

To achieve this we will:
  • Give people a say in how services are delivered
  • Value the work and contribution of employees and carers
  • Work in partnership with other agencies
  • Treat people fairly

We offer a wide range of information and advice to private tenants and homeowners. We also own and manage 24,000 homes in Dudley and aim to provide an efficient, responsive, and quality service to its tenants.

More information on the aims and objectives of the directorate of adult, community housing services is available on the council's directorate pages.

Housing options in Dudley Borough

A new Housing Options Service has been launched offering general advice on a wide range of options for renting and buying property. Staff will also be able to refer customers to specialist services such as mediation, debt prevention and home improvements and adaptations that can support people to stay in their existing homes.

If you are looking for housing in the Dudley borough one option is rented accomodation. The Dudley at Home website lists properties that are available from Dudley Council and other registered social landlords.

When a property becomes available it is advertised on the Dudley at Home website and published in a list that can be picked up from libraries, housing offices and Dudley Council Plus. Properties can also be viewed on Digi TV.

For further information contact the Dudley at Home team on 01384 812345.
