Payment is required in advance for each school term. When you enrol you will be asked to pay for the first term of lessons after which you will receive an invoice for subsequent lessons. All payment must be made online. There are currently no other options although we plan to introduce a direct debit scheme in the future.
Music lessons in schools
Your invoice is for a whole term of lessons. For subsequent periods you will receive an invoice before the start of the term. The fee is based on the number of lessons in the term and for 2024/2025 is as follows:
Group Tuition (£8.50 a lesson)
Autumn term, 14 lessons, £119
Spring term, 13 lessons, £10.50
Summer term, 9 Lessons, £76.50
Individual 20 minute lessons (£12.25 a lesson)
Autumn term, 14 lessons, £178.50
Spring term, 13 lessons, £165.75
Summer term, 9 Lessons £114.75
Music lessons at Resonance
Your invoice is for a whole term of lessons. For subsequent periods you will receive an invoice before the start of the term. The fee is based on the number of lessons in the term and for 2023/2024 is as follows for 20 minute lessons:
Autumn term 2023, 14 lessons, £192.50
Spring Term 2024, 13 lessons, £175.75
Summer Term 2024, 9 lessons, £123.75
Different rates apply for autumn half term starters based on the number of weeks remaining.
A full refund will be made in the event that DPA are not able to provide a tutor. Where lessons are missed at the fault of DPA a refund will be provided for the cost of that specific lesson or a credit offered for future provision. Lessons missed due to the fault of the student will not be refunded/credited.
DPA will provide at £10.50 a term the following instruments if required: (subject to availability, first term free for new starters)

Instruments are loaned free of charge for the first term and are to be returned immediately should tuition stop. Parents will be required to sign a guardian agreement before any instruments can be handed over. After you have registered we will contact you to find out if one of these instruments is required.
Parents are responsible for repairs caused by negligence and for replacing any loss.
