Statutory Budget Consultation with Non-Domestic Ratepayers
Section 65 of the Local Government Finance Act, 1992, requires the Council to make arrangements to consult persons, or bodies, who are representative of persons subject to non-domestic rates in the area, about proposals for expenditure for the forthcoming year.
An updated report on the Council’s Medium Term Financial Strategy (2025 to 2026) will be presented to Cabinet on 16 February 2023 and the Council will meet to approve the budget and set the Council Tax for 2022/23 on 6 March 2023.
