If you are a small group (up to 15 participants), there is a minimum charge of £46 or £6.40 per pupil)

Safety
We have included Risk assessments at the bottom of this page. It is intended to support your own school risk assessment as required by your school's Off-Site Policy.
Planning visits
Entrance to the Museum is free. If you wish to meet a member of the education team during the week to discuss in more detail any aspect of your visit please contact us in advance.
Accessibility
Dudley Museum is accessible to all. Whatever your requirements we will do our best to meet them. For further details and to discuss any specific requirements please call our Education Bookings Team on 01384 815571.
Parking
Coaches may set down and pick up directly outside the Museum entrance. There is a pull in, in front of the Archives building.
Gift Shop
There is no gift shop.
There are vending machines downstairs should you wish to purchase a hot drink.
Arrival
Coaches may set down and pick up only. Unfortunately there is no coach parking at the Archives. There is pay and display parking next door at Dudley Zoo.
Enter the venue through the main Archives entrance. You will be met by a member of the Education Team who will take you upstairs to the Museum.
Welcome speeches will be given to your group. This will cover information regarding lunch arrangements and toilet facilities.
During your visit
Please remain with your students in a supervisory role throughout the day.
Your group will be shown an indoor base for lunch and storage for coats, bags and lunchboxes. (NOTE: These are not locked)
WiFi is available throughout the venue.
Feedback. We really value your thoughts and those of your pupils.
Group sizes. A minimum group size charge will be applied to all bookings of 12 or below.
Changes and Cancellations. Please tell us as soon as possible if you wish to alter or cancel your booking. If your booking is cancelled less than two weeks before your visit then you will be charged 50%. If you booking is cancelled less than one week before your visit you will be charged 100%.
Refunds. We ask for payment on the day of your visit. Therefore refunds should not be necessary.
Late arrivals. If you are running late please phone ahead and let us know (01384 815571) we will always do our best to adjust timings.
Personal belongings. We cannot accept responsibility for valuables or belongings.

Rail
The closest railway station is Tipton which is on the Birmingham to Wolverhampton line - approximately one mile from the Museum.
Bus
There are a number of bus routes that stop outside the Black Country Living Museum and so are convenient for the Museum at the Archives.
