Please note: Our on site Coffee House is currently closed. The rest of the site and studios are open as normal. As the studios are independently run they are not open every day so if there is someone special you want to see we recommend you contact them before your arrival.
Our visitors arrive on foot, by car, by bus, by bike and by boat.
Stop off at the Cone, moor your boat overnight in a quiet, location and then treat yourself to a fresh barista coffee in the morning.
The Red House Glass Cone has two visitor moorings available along the Stourbridge Canal situated between lock 13 and lock 12.
There is an overnight mooring fee of £15 payable on arrival
Call staff on 01384 812750 to let us know when you are arriving and to check we have a mooring space available for you
Visitor toilets but no shower facilities or electric bollards.
Visitor picnic area alongside the moorings with tables and chairs available.
An independently run Coffee Shop on site that serves hot and cold food, a selection of hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes open 10am to 4pm Monday to Sunday.
The nearest local supermarkets are Tesco Express and Lidl located at the bottom of Brettell Lane in Stourbridge, a twenty minute walk along a busy main road.
Bus, number 16, 17 or 17a right outside the Cone on the main road to reach the shops, or go slightly further into Stourbridge Town centre, about 20 minutes away.
There are a few pubs serving food and drink along the main road heading towards Stourbridge that can easily be reached on foot via the road or along the canal
Opposite the Cone is a take away or eat in Fish and Chip shop (selling battered chips)
What are the opening times of the Red House Glass Cone site?
The site is open Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm and Saturday & Sunday 11am to 4pm
Is the site safe?
The main entrance gate at the Red House Glass Cone is locked around 4.30pm and re-opened at 10am every morning
