Frequently Asked Questions...

How much is entry?  Nothing at all, we are owned and managed by Dudley MBC who believe in preserving and supporting heritage and culture. We do have a donations box on site which is used to buy new pieces for the collection.

Where are the toilets? Right here next to the Visitor Centre.

Can I bring my dog in? Unfortunately we no longer allow dogs into the Cone or Visitor Centre. Of course, Assistance Dogs are welcome. We do allow dogs onto the external part of the site, and there is a poop bin by the canal if needed!

Do you have a cash machine? No. We only accept card payments of £5 or more. The closest cash point is down the road outside Tesco Express.

What can I do with my kids? We have free 'duck' trails available everyday, in the ground floor Showcase Gallery you will often find free colouring or craft activities, watch a glass-blowing demonstration, meet your friends and use our free wi-fi or sit by the canal and feed the ducks. You don't need to spend a penny. (although we do have some really cool stuff in the shop for children!)

Are you accessible for wheelchairs? The majority of the displays and experience are all on the ground floor. Inside the Cone, the floor is 'lumpy and bumpy' due to the original factory floor still in situ. Unfortunately, currently our lift to the Upstairs Gallery is out of use. Do ask our staff on Reception for information about what is up there.
