Final recommendations
The Local Government Boundary Commission England has now published its final proposals for new ward boundaries, as part of a review of electoral arrangements in Dudley.
The commission has recommended there continues to be 72 ward councillors in the borough in 24 wards – three in each ward.
There has been changes in the names of some wards, while some boundaries have been slightly altered so wards have a similar number of electors.
The Commission will soon present these proposals to parliament for an Order to be made. If the Order is not rejected, the new wards will be in place for the next election in May 2024.
Full details of the final recommendations can be found on the Boundary Commission's website, where an interactive map is available.
