Our aim is to give children, young people and their families access to the best Early Help services and opportunities at places that are most convenient for them.

What are the family centres and what do they offer?

The Family Centres are a service within Dudley that work together with a range of agencies and organisations to support families. Their aim is to provide families with access to the best Early Help support.

Dudley’s Family Centres provide a broad range of support services across the borough, with locations in Dudley North, Stourbridge, Dudley Central, Brierley Hill and Halesowen. The centres offer the following support for children and young people from birth to 18 years or to 25 years for those with learning difficulties or disabilities:

  • Parenting Groups
  • Baby Clinics
  • Citizens Advice
  • Pre Natal support
  • Signposting to Services and Groups
  • Family Support Work

The five family centres are made up of staff from a range of backgrounds and experiences and offer Early Help to families to prevent any difficulties progressing to statutory services.
