Extreme heat alert

The Met Office has issued a Red extreme heat alert for the West Midlands from 9am on Wednesday to 9pm on Thursday. Hot weather can be dangerous, especially for vulnerable people. For advice on staying cool, signs of heat exhaustion, swimming safely outdoors, fire safety, and more: Summer wellbeing

Supporting financial information (2025/26)

Council Tax helps to pay for Council services including education and social services, West Midlands Police and Crime and Fire & Civil Defence.
