Yellow Heat Health Alert

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued a Yellow Heat Health Alert for all regions in England, from 9am on Monday 13 July until 9pm on Friday 17 July. Rising temperatures may increase health risks, particularly for vulnerable groups. About the Glass Library

Over the years the Museum Service has built up an important reference library of glass books and periodicals that are available to researchers. Their is an extensive collection of auction house catalogues, publications by glass societies' and trade journals. Videos and films of glassmaking are also collected.

How to use the Glass Library

Library visits and book requests must be booked in advance. The Glass Library is reference only therefore readers must be able to visit Himley Hall in order to view the books. The glass library is not open to the general public and viewing is by appointment only.

Photocopying facilities are available (a small charge per sheet applies).
