Yellow Heat Health Alert

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued a Yellow Heat Health Alert for all regions in England, from 9am on Monday 13 July until 9pm on Friday 17 July. Rising temperatures may increase health risks, particularly for vulnerable groups. Hurst Green Park encompasses areas of managed grass and a small densely wooded area known as ‘Millennium Wood’.

  • Large areas of flat managed grass for picnicking and leisure activities
  • Car park

The park is regularly used by dog walkers and organised sports teams.

Friends of the park

Hurst Green Park has an active Friends Group.

The group was established when members of the local community volunteered to start discussions on ways of improving and regenerating the park to its full potential and encourage increased public use. We are always recruiting new members, to assist with future plans and events. If you are interested, please contact us.

Hurst Green Park is positioned between Moat Drive and Hurst Green Road B62 9PY. The main Entrance to the park is off Moat Drive. There is ample parking available at this entrance via a small off road car park and street parking.
