We have lots of beautiful parks within the borough; you will probably find one within walking distance of your home. A number of our parks are "Healthy Town Parks" with activity centres offering a wide range of inclusive physical activities.

  • Parks are open everyday with free access. In most cases there are car-parking facilities. On our Healthy Town parks, staff work on various rotas according to seasons. Check with individual sites for current timetables.

  • Most Parks have a range of Outdoor Recreation Facilities such as outdoor gyms, football pitches, tennis courts, basketball courts, bowling greens and playgrounds. Park Development Services take payments for sports facilities, such as football and bowling, please contact us by email or phone.
