Monday 29 June to Friday 3 July 2026

Dudley Council is stepping up action to tackle anti-social behaviour (ASB) as part of national Awareness Week.

Across the week, council teams will run activities to raise awareness, engage with communities and take action against nuisance and criminal behaviour. This includes school and community visits, targeted enforcement and the use of technology such as a council-operated drone.

Community drop-in session

Residents can meet the ASB team:

  • Monday 29 June, 10am at Bumble Hole Café, Netherton

Officers will be available to discuss local issues and ongoing work.

Drone technology supports enforcement by monitoring illegal off-road bikes, assisting fly-tipping investigations and identifying other issues, including potential illegal activity using thermal imaging. Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) are also in place to tackle concerns such as street racing.

ASB typically increases during warmer months. Last year, out-of-hours calls averaged 124 per month between April and September, compared to 79 per month over winter. The council’s out-of-hours team handled over 1,300 calls and carried out 1,700 home visits, with 9 in 10 residents satisfied with how their case was managed.

Report anti-social behaviour

Report ASB at any time via the MyDudley online service.

Criminal incidents or emergencies should be reported to West Midlands Police.
