The annual family-friendly Play Week will be back again this year but in a different format due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Facebook will host this year’s event from Monday August 3 to Friday August 7 with opportunities for families to take part at home.
There will be fun activities, demonstrations and competitions with prizes to win throughout the week.
A video gallery will be available for the duration of play week, so that families can pick the ones they want to take part in.
The week will include a Punch and Judy show, treasure hunt, bike maintenance workshop, craft and decoration workshops, design a Playweek logo competition, exercise workshop, campfire experience, go-kart tour of Sycamore Adventure, magic show, disco with DJ Lloyd, kite making workshops, green cross code sessions, exercise sessions and much more.
In addition to the activities, there will be a section hosting information about council services especially for families.
