A public inquiry commenced on the 14th October 2025 and was adjourned on the 16th October in respect of an appeal by Churchill Living Ltd against the refusal of Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council of full planning application (P24/1100) for the demolition of the existing former youth centre and erection 49 no. retirement living apartments with associated communal facilities, vehicular access, car parking and landscaping. Provision of a new multi-use games area and children's play area to the southwest of the existing former youth centre.
