You will need a valid debit or credit card and a one-off payment of £52 will be taken – this fee is frozen from 2025/26.
Collections are fortnightly, and only suspended for two weeks over the Christmas period.
Please note:
- New permits will be delivered to you within 10 working days of signing up
- Please note: If you sign up less than 24 hours before your collection day, we will not empty your bin until the following collection. Our system needs this time to record your details
- Only bins with visible permits will be collected by our crews (however, you may still put out your garden bin if you have subscribed but your permit hasn't arrived yet)

Additional garden waste
If you have a lot of heavy garden waste, you can split it over several garden waste collections. You can also take it to the tip, also known as the household waste recycling centre.
You can also alternatively pay a one-off fee for large amounts of garden waste to be picked up from your home. For a small fee, you can get rid of unwanted items quickly and easily by using our bulky waste collection service
