Yellow Heat Health Alert
The UK Health Security Agency has issued a Yellow Heat Health Alert for the West Midlands from 12pm on 4 July to 8pm on 11 July 2026. These alerts are a reminder for everyone to take extra care during the hot weather and to look out for those who may need additional support. Being neurodivergent or having a neurodivergent family member can be positive, but can also be confusing at times, especially when family members don’t understand what is happening for their child or young person.
The charity Contact has a page on their website which explains what dyscalculia is and how it impacts on everyday life, which could be useful to signpost older members of your family too.
