This group is for residents who are already involved and engaged. You can take part either by attending meetings in person or joining online.
The Customer Assurance Board (CAB) checks that Dudley Council's Housing & Assets Group is delivering the Housing Engagement Strategy and action plan. It helps make sure that residents' involvement is meaningful, effective, and makes a real difference.
The CAB's responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and monitoring the Housing Engagement Strategy and action plan.
- Reviewing and monitoring how well resident engagement groups are working.
- Reviewing and monitoring performance based on residents' experiences.
- Providing residents' views on value for money, compliance, and service improvements.
- Making sure residents' opinions are considered when decisions are made.
- Working closely with the Customer Scrutiny Involvement Group, Dudley Federation of Tenants and Residents, and other residents to ensure engagement is effective and has a positive impact.
Additional responsibility:
- Acting as a place where issues raised by other engagement groups can be discussed and addressed.
There may be a lot of information to read before meetings, but the Tenant Engagement Team will present it in a way that is easy to understand and suitable for your needs. We will make sure you have all the information you need, and it will be sent to you at least one week before each meeting.
Approximate time commitments:
- 90 minutes meeting every two months
- 60-120 minutes reviewing information before meeting
