Essential website maintenance

We will be carrying out planned maintenance on www.dudley.gov.uk Tuesday 11 August, This may involve some disruption to the site. You will still be able to raise requests through our MyDudley portal and make online payments through our eStore. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Careers advice and guidance is available from Connexions Dudley MBC. This is an information, advice and guidance service for young people to help you make choices on your career pathway.

If your school does not have a Connexions advisor, you will have a dedicated member of staff in school who can give guidance on educational routes.

Colleges, Sixth Forms, and training providers will all have a careers team to support you.

Connexions Dudley have a website which gives detailed information on their services.

If you are entitled to Personal Education Planning (Virtual School) meetings there is a dedicated section to record advice and guidance, and to support you making your educational choices at Post 16. Your school and Virtual School advisor will discuss this with you in your meetings and record your views.

If you have left college and you are unclear of your next educational steps your personal advisor can contact a member of Virtual School staff to arrange a meeting to discuss your next steps or options.
