The purpose of the Strategy is to assess the existing quantity (e.g. how much green space is currently found in Dudley), the current quality, public accessibility level and distribution of the borough’s parks and green spaces.
Consultation was undertaken between 23rd February 2009 and 6th April 2009 on the draft Strategy and the responses and comments received through this were used to inform the final document. The Parks and Green Space Strategy was adopted by Dudley Council on the 17th June 2009.
