Dudley Council Plus phone lines will be closed from 25 to 27 December and on 1 January. Self-serve online services will be accessible as normal.
The Repairs Management centre will be open for emergency repairs only from 23 to 27 December and 30 December to 1 January. Normal service will resume from 28 and 29 December and from 2 January.
To report an emergency repair during this period, please call 0300 555 8283, as our online facilities will not be actioned until 2 January onwards.
Some households will have altered collections for waste and recycling over the Christmas and New Year period.
All collections due between 26 December and 5 January will move back a day. Collections due on 25 December will now be collected on 23 December.
The HWRC will also be operating reduced hours on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, when the site will close at 1pm. The final booking slot on both days will be 12.50pm.
The pop-up tip on Lister Road in Dudley will be open on Saturday 13 January.
The register office will be closed from 24 to 27 December and on 1 January. The service will be available for death registrations only from 28 to 31 December. Normal business resumes from 2 January.
The grounds of Himley Hall and Park will remain open throughout the festive season from 7.30am to 5pm.
The South Wing Coffee Lounge and Galleries will be closed from 24 December to 27 December and 1 January. The lounge will reopen on 2 January at 9.30am.
Duncan Edwards, Crystal and Halesowen leisure centres and The Dell Stadium will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
The Dell Stadium will also be closed from 30 December to 31 December.
Our children, adult and community services offices will close at 5pm on 22 December until 28 December, and also on 1 January.
Support centres
Day Centre Services will be available on 28 and 29 December as normal.
Local family hubs
Local family hubs will close for the Christmas break from 5pm on Friday 22 December and will reopen on Tuesday 2 January at 9am.
If you need to contact a local family hub during the Christmas period, two of the hubs in Coseley (tel. 01384 813096) and Stourbridge (tel. 01384 818780) will be open on 28 and 29 December from 9am to 5pm.

Approved Mental Health Professionals Service
The Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHP) hub accepts requests for Mental Health Act (MHA) assessments 24/7, 365 days per year. They can be contacted on 01384 814400.
Any queries for Mental Health social work teams should be directed to the Emergency Duty Team out of hours and on bank holidays.

Gornal and Stourbridge cemeteries and grounds are open during the Christmas period from 9am to 4.30pm. The book of remembrance and flower rooms are open from 9am to 4pm.
The borough crematoria and offices will be closed from 25 to 27 December and 1 January.
Services including residential care, sheltered housing, home care and telecare will continue to operate during the festive season.
The Carers Hub and advice line will be closed from 25 December to 27 December. Opening times on 28 December and 29 December will be from 9am to 4.30pm.
