Public consultation - Proposed expansion of the Unicorn Satellite Centre

Ascent Multi Academy Trust, in collaboration with Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council, invites you to take part in a public consultation on a proposed expansion of The Unicorn Satellite Centre, part of The Brier School.

What's being proposed?

The Trust is proposing to increase the Centre’s capacity to approximately 45 pupils by September 2026. This expansion will help meet the growing demand for specialist education places for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the borough.

Located on Brettell Lane, The Unicorn Centre has recently undergone redevelopment to offer high-quality, inclusive learning for pupils with moderate to severe learning disabilities.

Why your voice matters

This consultation is open to parents, carers, staff, community members, and partner agencies. Your feedback is vital in shaping the future of SEND provision in Dudley before any final decisions are made.
