If you are a European Union (EU) citizen, you and your family will be able to apply to get either settled or pre-settled status.
This will mean you can continue living in the UK after 31 December 2020, you will have until 30 June 2021 to apply for either settled or pre-settled status.

You should note the fee for this service is non-refundable if we are unable to process your application, or you do not attend the appointment.

Please note, making an application is entirely voluntary.
You will need a compatible Android phone or tablet if you want to scan your identity document, this can be your own phone or tablet or someone else’s.
If your mobile phone or other device does not have near field communication (NFC) and you are eligible to apply for settled status during the pilot phase, you can bring your ID document to us, where it can be scanned and verified for you. You will then be able to make an application for settled status.
We will not need to keep your ID document and in most cases you should not be asked to send your passport anywhere else during your application for settled status.
If you are eligible to apply for settled status and wish to use the Dudley EU Settlement Service, please book an appointment online. DO NOT attend the office without an appointment. We will not be able to see you.
Your appointment will take place at Dudley Register Office, Priory Hall, Priory Park, Dudley DY1 4EY

a mobile phone that can receive text messages or a device that can receive email

The cost of the EU Settlement Service is £14 (including VAT) per applicant paid by card at the time of booking your appointment and is non-refundable.
The process will be Covid safe. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time and wait outside by the green wooden doors at the front of Priory Hall. A member of staff will collect you when it is time for your appointment. You will need a face covering and should wear suitable clothing for the weather.
DO NOT attend if you are anyone in your household has symptoms of Covid 19 or you have had a recent positive test. Email register.office@dudley.gov.uk and we will reschedule your appointment.
