The Family Information Service (FIS) is a free signposting service managed by Dudley Council providing detailed information, advice and contacts for parents, families and carers across the Dudley borough.
The FIS provides information on:
- Ofsted registered early years and childcare providers
- Information on funded early education childcare for under 2’s, 2, 3 and 4 year olds
- Wraparound care
- Childcare provision for children aged 5 years+
- Things to do and places to go, including details of events and activities taking place for children, young people and families during holidays
- Services to support parents and carers of children with additional needs such as signposting to SEN family events in, short breaks, details of sensory rooms and support groups.
