Draft CACAs - Lutley Mill & The Coppice

Draft Conservation Area Appraisal and Management plans have been produced for two existing Conservation Areas.

  • Lutley Mill Conservation Area
  • Coppice Conservation Area

The Appraisals assess what is special about the historic and architectural character of the Conservation Area. The management plans identify what issues are facing the Conservation Areas and sets out proposals for action for their preservation or enhancement. To view a full copy of the draft Conservation Area Appraisal and Management plan for the two conservation areas you can view and download them below.

Public consultation will be taking place between 28th June and the 13th August 2021 on the draft Conservation Area Character Appraisals in order to seek views on the appropriateness of the existing boundary of the Conservation Area, any possible extensions and what issues should be reflected in the management plan. Any representations made during the consultation period will be considered and, where appropriate, will be incorporated into the final Character Appraisals.
