  • 3 October 2025 - The Action Point 14 response, DMBC30, was originally submitted in September 2025. The Council overlooked some of the policies that should have been addressed through this action point. Another review has been conducted by the Council and therefore this document has been updated. Accordingly, the Examination Documents webpage has been updated with the following document:

  • 29 September 2025 - Please be aware of the following updates to the hearing timetable:

    • Matter 14 Promoting Healthy and Safe Communities is now being heard during the morning session of Tuesday 21st October 2025

    • Matters 15 Infrastructure and Viability, Matter 16 Other Development Management Policies and Matter 17 Implementation, Delivery and Monitoring are now being heard in the afternoon session of Tuesday 21st October 2025

    • The Examination Next Steps session will now take place on Wednesday 22nd October 2025 at 11am.

Accordingly, the Examination Documents webpage has been updated with the following document:

If you have requested to participate in the hearing sessions, please carefully check the draft hearing timetable, to ensure that you are listed correctly for all the matters you wish to participate in and the name of your participant is correct.

A limited consultation on this evidence will take place between Monday 14 July and 5:00pm on Monday 21 July 2025. This consultation is open only to those who submitted representations during the Regulation 19 consultation (held from 18 October to 29 November 2024), and comments must relate solely to the newly published Duty to Co-operate material.

All responses received within the consultation period will be forwarded to the Inspector and the Council and will be published on the examination website. The Council will then have an opportunity to respond by 24 July 2025.

DMBC13 is an addendum to SD029 - Dudley Local Plan Submission (Reg 22) Duty to Cooperate Compliance Statement 2025, which corrects errors in the original document.

If you intend to submit a hearing statement, please refer to the Inspector’s Guidance Note to ensure your hearing statement(s) are submitted correctly.

Please ensure postal copies are sent as well as electronic copies.

Electronic copies of your hearing statement(s) are required to be sent to Kerry.trueman@dudley.gov.uk

Two paper copies of your hearing statement(s) should be hole punched and stapled, then sent to the Programme Officer at: Dudley Examination, 1 Pendragon House, Bertram Drive, Meols, Wirral, CH47 0LG.
