We are currently diverting all our resources into dealing with the affected trees in the Norton / Stourbridge area following wildfires. As part of the Black Country Joint Core Strategy a Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) has been carried out in accordance with PPS 25 'Development and Flood Risk'.

The SFRA has collated all known sources of flooding and delineates areas that have a 'low', 'medium' and 'high' probability of flooding within the Black Country. Specific planning recommendations have been provided for all urban centres within the Black Country and recommended development control conditions for all future development are included in the SFRA.
