A beautiful hall offering modern comforts surrounded by original Victorian features. Based in the town centre the hall is easily accessible by train, bus and car. It is ideal for shows, events, concerts, sales, exhibitions, dances, meetings and wedding receptions.
What to consider when booking a hall:
To help us advise you on the most suitable hall for your needs, please consider the following questions:
When do you want to hire the hall (date and starting and finishing times)
What is the type of function – a wedding reception, concert, conference etc.
How many people will be coming?
Do you want a bar service?
Is access required for people with disabilities?
Are you staging an entertainment, cabaret or function with admission charges?
Does your function need lighting and a public address system?
If you wish to provisionally hold a date we will reserve your date for 7 working days only. If you do not confirm the date by 5pm of the seventh day the date will become available for other customers to book.
When you wish to confirm the function date contact the Office and we will post you the booking form and conditions of hire. You have 14 working days to complete and return the form by post. We will contact you by telephone to take a credit or debit payment for the deposit (50% of hall hire charge) for the function date to be confirmed.
If we do not receive the return of the booking form with your deposit by the date specified your function date will be made available for other customers to hire.
Of course. Just call us and we will be able to put you in touch with the venue staff to arrange a convenient time. Please note that you can only view the Halls by selected appointment times only.
This depends on what venue you want to hire and the day. Please see our fees list above.
Yes there are kitchen facilities available at Stourbridge Town Hall. You will need to confirm the need for a kitchen when booking, and there is a charge for use of the kitchen.
Some parties of disabled people prefer to access the Town Hall via Smithfields (a side street off Market Street). This must be arranged prior to your visit with the Hall Supervisor (telephone 01384 812956).
The entrance door is ‘light to open’ and suitable for wheelchair users. The door is not distinguishable.
It leads to a short internal ramp, 2.4m long. However, the ramp is ‘steep’. Colour contrasting handrails are provided on both sides of the ramp.
There is a bar available at Stourbridge Town Hall. Please enquire again when booking for specific terms.
The unit has been installed at Stourbridge Town Hall, on the ground floor at the rear of the foyer, next to the bar. Changing place toilets are specially designed for people with complex needs and disabilities, that include specialist equipment.
The halls can be hired at variable opening hours to suit your event. Please see the event details for information of the dates and times that they are being held.
