Emergency planning advice for schools

Planning and preparing for emergencies can save lives. It can also help prevent an incident escalating, protect against litigation and enhance the school’s standing as a safe place to learn and work

Creating and maintaining a School Emergency Plan and training those staff undertaking roles within the plan helps establishments to identify potential risk areas and develop procedures to manage these effectively.
