Future of mental health services consultation

We’re reviewing the way we deliver mental health services across Dudley borough and want your feedback to help us shape the way we work in the future.

The pandemic has had a significant impact on the number of people accessing the service and we have to make sure it is fit for the future. We are looking at how we can make services more widely available and help as many people as possible within our communities.

In this consultation you are being asked about the future of services at Woodside day centre and its potential closure. We want to know if you think services can be provided at other venues such as Queen’s Cross Network, just one mile away from Woodside day centre and Brett Young day centre in Halesowen and the addition of three Community Rooms based in Stourbridge, Halesowen and Coseley.

No decisions have been made and it is absolutely vital that we get this right. Your views, particularly those who use these services, are absolutely central to the future of mental health care in the borough.

The consultation closes at 5pm on 21 November 2021.
