About the director, Kathy Jones
Kathy started her housing career 21 years ago working for Shelter, which is where her passion for great housing and sustainable communities first started. She joined local government in 2004, leading Housing and Homelessness services at Telford & Wrekin Council, before going on to be responsible for housing, repairs and support services in Walsall, Stafford and more recently Trafford. She joined Dudley Council in May 2022.
Kathy believes that a home is the foundation to good health, education and opportunities, and adopts an intelligence-led approach to decision making that will ensure that the development of Dudley’s housing and community services are informed by staff, partners and customers.
