Publication Dudley Local Plan (Regulation 19) consultation

We want to know your views on Dudley's Local Plan. We are now consulting on the stage referred to as the Regulation 19 or Publication version of the Local Plan. The Dudley Local Plan has been published in accordance with Regulation 19 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012.

This is the time in the plan process that residents, statutory bodies and other organisations, have the chance to put their views forward to the independent planning inspector who will be appointed by the government to examine the plan. People will also have the opportunity to ask to be heard at the public examination sessions.

Dudley MBC is inviting comments on its soundness and legal compliance from Friday 18 October until 5pm on Friday 29 November 2024.

The summary document, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and video below provide a useful overview of the plan. You can also read more about the local plan here and the stages involved in its adoption. We have also produced a guidance note on how to respond to the Regulation 19 stage of the plan.

If you would like the summary document in an alternative format, or community language please contact the Dudley Planning Policy Team using the contact details at the bottom of this page.
