Adult and Community Learning - What's New

Latest news update

We are preparing to welcome learners back into our centres soon. We have implemented new processes and cleaning schedules for COVID-19 so that you feel safe in our learning centres. We have a good range of courses to choose from English, maths and computers to arts, crafts and family learning. Please see our ACL courses Summer - Autumn 2020 below.

We are continuing to provide our popular online courses which are free. Please see our ACL Online courses July 2020 below.

We are also offering an employability support package for residents and businesses and one to one support for those seeking long or short term employment or volunteering. Please call us on 01384 812373 for more details.

Inspire

A new free course for people who are unemployed and looking for work, or in work but looking for new opportunities.

Living and work - a course for adults with learning disabilities

On this course you will learn skills to help you in your daily life. You will also gain credits towards a qualification.

The course is held on Thursdays, 10.30am to 3pm (with 30 minutes for lunch).

To complete the course you must attend all of the sessions.

To join the course you must:
• be over 19 years old
• have basic reading and writing skills
• be able to attend for 2 days a week for 20 weeks
• take part in group activities
• be in receipt of benefits

Creative Crafts short courses

Develop your creative craft skills with one of our new three week courses starting soon.

Courses include lino printing, candle making, and felting. Courses take place in the Stourbridge area on Tuesday mornings. View the flyer for more information.
