Safeguarding

Safeguarding is about protecting children, young people and adults at risk from abuse or neglect. If you are worried or concerned about the way you or someone you know is being treated, tell someone you trust.

Safeguarding is all about us working together to make sure that children, young people and adults are safe and protected, free from harm, abuse or neglect. Adults should also be free to make their own choices.

For any concern you consider to be an emergency call 999.

Look, listen, let us know

Take a look at this short animation. It explains how important it is that we are all aware of our safeguarding responsibilities. Be alert to signs of abuse, harm or neglect of people living or working around us and tell us when you are concerned.
