What is council tax e-billing?

With e-billing, instead of receiving a paper bill you will be able to access your council tax information online.

The key advantage of e-billing:

  • You will receive your bill as soon as it is available
  • It saves paper so is better for the environment
  • It helps to reduce council spending by saving printing and postage costs
  • Access your bill anytime in a safe and secure way.

Who can sign-up for council tax e-billing?

Anyone who pays council tax within the Dudley Borough. All you need is a MyDudley Account

What do I need when signing up?

All you need is a MyDudley account and your 8 digit council tax reference number.

  • Don't know your 8 digit council tax reference number?

Help is it at hand. Simply begin the sign-up process and we will do the rest.

All you need to do is answer a couple more questions about you and your home.

How will I know when a new e-bill is available?

You will be sent an email letting you know that your e-bill is available to be viewed in MyDudley

How can I view my e-bill?

Each spring you will receive an email notification when your e-bill is ready to view.

To view your e-bill simply login to MyDudley and select the MyAccounts tab

I signed up for council tax e-billing prior to December 2024, what do I need to do?

No action is required. We will soon be in contact with further details.

I have registered for e-billing but changed my mind, can I unregister?

If you would like to unregister from e-billing you can do this in MyDudley under the MyAccounts tab

Can I still receive a paper bill once I have registered for e-billing?

If you have registered for e-billing you will not receive a paper copy of your bill.
