Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) affects around 5–6% of children in the UK, with boys more commonly diagnosed than girls. Developmental Coordination Disorder can affect fine and gross motor skills, organisation, speech, and sometimes sensory processing. It is a lifelong condition and can vary significantly in how it presents from person to person.
