Family hubs

Dudley's family hub network includes five local family hubs, along with online resources and community services which support children and families across the borough. The local family hubs are located at Brierley Hill, Coseley, Dudley, Lye and Stourbridge.

Dudley family hub network

The network is a one-stop shop, offering advice and support for families in Dudley with children aged 0-19 (25 if the child has special educational needs and/or disabilities). It includes an online offer and five local family hubs.

The network includes key Start for Life services. These cover the period from conception to age two. Core Start for Life services such as midwifery, health visiting and early years support are included.

The hubs are welcoming places where parents-to-be, parents, carers, families and young people can get help all from one place.

Family hubs are local and accessible, linking families to the right services for them, when they need them.

We are looking for parents and carers to join ‘Dudley Family Voices’ – a group of parents and carers helping shape the future development of services provided by the network. Where is my local family hub?

There are currently five local family hubs around the borough that can offer support to you and your family. They are open Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm. They are located at:

Stay and Play groups at your local family hub

Families with babies and pre-school children can enjoy FREE fun activity sessions at all local family hubs. Sessions run throughout the week, places are limited so please contact your local hub to find out more and book a place.

Start for Life

Families of children from conception to age two can find guidance and support on a range of topics through Start for Life, which is part of Dudley’s family hub network. Discover more about Start for Life services from Dudley Council and our network partners here.

Early help

The local family hubs are part of the Early Help service within Dudley borough. Early Help is taking action early to provide support where problems are emerging for children, young people and their families. Early help support may be provided at any point in a child or young person’s life. The hubs work alongside partners and families to provide support including Early Help Assessments and Family Support Plans. The Dudley Early Help Strategy 2021-24 can be viewed on the Dudley Health & Wellbeing board website.
