Family centres will soon be part of the Family Hub Network and Start for Life programme.
The Family Hub and Start for Life programme aims to provide families in Dudley borough with easy access to the support they need, at the right time in the right place. It will be accessible to all, provide better connections and build stronger relationships with families to help to ensure babies, children and young people in Dudley get the best start for life and meet their full potential.
Family centres will continue operating as normal but will soon be renamed as family hubs. During this time we will be working closely with families and partners to help us to make changes to how services are delivered.
Dudley Family Hub Network
Dudley is one of 75 local authority areas to benefit from government funding to develop a Family Hub and Start for Life programme. This investment will enable them to transform their services into a family hub model and improve support for new and expectant families.
In Dudley borough, our existing family centres will be incorporated into the family hub model.
