Yellow Heat Health Alert

The UK Health Security Agency has issued a Yellow Heat Health Alert for the West Midlands from 12pm on 4 July to 8pm on 11 July 2026. These alerts are a reminder for everyone to take extra care during the hot weather and to look out for those who may need additional support. There are freephones in various locations around the borough, so that you can call us. The freephones have been located in special booths clearly identifiable as Dudley Council freephone.  All you have to do is pick up the phone.  No need to dial.  No money to pay.  Then just select from the options given.

Look out for the Dudley Council freephone posters which will be displayed at each location.
