Draft Conservation Area Character Appraisals for All Saints Sedgley, Wollaston and Wordsley

Draft Conservation Area Appraisal and Management plans have been produced for three Conservation Areas.

  • All Saints Sedgley Conservation Area
  • Wollaston Conservation Area
  • Wordsley Church Conservation Area

The Appraisal’s assesses what is special about the historic and architectural character of the Conservation Area. The management plan identifies what issues are facing the Conservation Area and sets out proposals for action for its preservation or enhancement. To view a full copy of the draft Conservation Area Appraisal and Management plan for each of the three conservation areas you can view and download them below.

Between the 8th January and 19th February 2018 the Council undertook a public consultation exercise on the draft Conservation Area Character Appraisals in order to seek views on the appropriateness of the existing boundary of the Conservation Area, any possible extensions and what issues should be reflected in the management plan.

The consultation has now closed, all feedback is in the process of being collated, considered and used to help us develop the next stage of the plan. This  will result in the publication of a final version of the Conservation Area Character Appraisal and results of the public consultation.
