The Family Information Service
The FIS provides information on:
- Ofsted registered early years and childcare providers
- Information on funded early education childcare for 2, 3 and 4 year olds
- Wraparound care
There’s information on childcare provision for children aged 5 years+ and on things to do and places to go, together with details of events and activities taking place for children, young people and families. The FIS can signpost to both local and national support groups.

Early Language Development
Dudley Speech, Language and Communication covers speech, language, communication and early literacy support available for parents and professionals in the Black Country.
Dudley Speech and Language Therapy Service
Speech & language therapists identify and support children and young people with a range of communication and eating/drinking/swallowing difficulties. Find further information on the NHS website.
