Dudley Family Hub Network
Dudley's family hub network includes five local family hubs, along with online resources and community services which support children and families across the borough. The local family hubs are located at Brierley Hill, Coseley, Dudley, Lye and Stourbridge.
Early Help for Children and Families
Early Help is taking action early to provide support where problems are emerging for children, young people and their families. Early help support may be provided at any point in a child or young person’s life. The sooner the family receives the support, the sooner they are able to improve their situation and prevent the need for prolonged support.
Home Start
Home Start is based in Brierley Hill, where staff and trained volunteers work alongside families. They help parents regain confidence and provide a range of support with:
- post-natal depression
- relationship breakdown support
- money issues
- isolation and loneliness
- coping with physical illnesses and disabilities

Brierley Hill Babybank
Our Charity objectives and core focus is the prevention or relief of poverty in Brierley Hill and the surrounding areas by providing essential items, resources and support to families with young children. Our soft play area is a perfect space to watch your little ones explore and grow in confidence, helping them to improve and start to step, climb, crawl, jump and roll without fear of being hurt. Soft play improves the cognitive, physical, social and emotional well-being of children and adults alike.

Provide Home Starter packages, Training and work experience for the unemployed, Progression into Higher Education or paid employment.

New Beginnings - CHADD
New Beginnings is our service for survivors of domestic abuse. CHADD has a committed team of support workers and other professionals who help people in Dudley find their feet and find their way to live a thriving life.

Sands

Tommy's
Tommy’s is the largest charity funding research into the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth. They also provide information for parents-to-be to help them to have a healthy pregnancy and baby, as well as advice on mental wellbeing. Birth Reflections
The team at Russells Hall Hospital Maternity Unit holds a birth reflection clinic for antenatal and postnatal women who need it. Advice includes listening to each unique birth experience in a sympathetic and non-judgemental way, helping to build confidence after any trauma and assisting the woman rebuild relationships and get her life back on track.

The Birth Trauma Association is a charity that supports women who suffer birth trauma – post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after birth.
