Yellow Heat Health Alert

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued a Yellow Heat Health Alert for all regions in England, from 9am on Monday 13 July until 9pm on Friday 17 July. Rising temperatures may increase health risks, particularly for vulnerable groups. Holy Trinity Church was also known as 'The Church of the Glass-makers'. There are many famous names on the headstones in the churchyard. It is also famous for its wonderful stained glass windows, many of which were sponsored by the local glass manufacturing families.

The painting shows the interior of a packed church c.1900, with a strict hierarchical sitting order. 

Martha Alice was the daughter of Henry Gething Richardson and Elizabeth Richardson, part of the glass-making Richardson dynasty.
