The accounts were produced on a pre IFRS basis before the 2010/11 financial year. Pre 2010/11 the accounts followed the Statement of Recommended Practice for Local Authority Accounting (the SORP) for the relevant year.
The main statements included in the past accounts are the Income and Expenditure Account, the Statement of Movement on the General Fund Balance, the Statement of Total Recognised Gains and Losses, the Balance Sheet and the Cash Flow Statement. These are supported by supplementary statements:- the Housing Revenue Account and the Collection Fund.
