Information for Children and Young People

Children and young people in Dudley have access to a wide range of specialist help and support from both Dudley Council and external providers.

New to Care

If you are new to care you may have many questions, the Dudley children in Care site will help you understand what care is and what is happening to you, as you come under the care and protection of Dudley Council.  It will also provide you with information and guidance, ranging from the types of care to health and your future.

Children in Care Council

Dudley’s Children in Care Council (CiCC) is called Make A Difference (MAD) and is a group of young people aged 11+ years that have experience of being looked after. It is a great way of coming together with other young people and having a say on issues that matter to you, and you can make sure that children in care are heard by the people that make decisions.
