In addition to the Local Development Framework, which sets policy to guide development within the Dudley Borough, we also publish planning guidance notes and supplementary planning guidance to address specific planning issues.
These will be replaced by supplementary planning documents (SPD’s) within the Local Development Framework. Currently a number of these documents are subject to consultation.
At present these documents include greater information on the way specific policies of the Development Plan will be implemented as well as development / planning briefs for specific sites.
Please use our online Planning Enquiry Form if you require an opinion as to whether you need planning permission from the Council (i.e. express planning consent) for a proposed house extension or outbuilding.
Alternatively contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
It is suggested that you read the guidance note 'Planning Permission - A Guide for Householders' before completing this form as this may give you the information you require.
