There are many organisations offering assistance to Dudley residents

Cost of Living Support Hubs

Citizens Advice Cost of Living Support Hubs can provide help to Dudley residents in need of support.

These hubs can offer support and information on how to save money and make money stretch further. They also provide practical help relating to food, fuel and access to available grants and funds based on qualifying criteria.

Household support fund

The Government has made an extra £842 million available to help the most vulnerable across England.

The Household Support Fund is there to help low income households, including families, pensioners, unpaid carers, care leavers and disabled people. It provides immediate help for those who are struggling.

Free period and incontinence products

Free period and incontinence products are currently available at three borough libraries.

Tampons, sanitary towels and incontinence products are available subject to availability for free on request at libraries in Brierley Hill, Dudley and Lye.

The libraries will only provide products for the person asking.

The pilot initiative is being run in partnership by Dudley Council’s public health team, Dudley Libraries and Periods Matter.

For further advice and support about periods, call 0300 770 1561, email hello@periodsmatter.co.uk or go to Periods Matter.
