Dudley Council works hard to ensure its services continue to run during the autumn and winter period. However, some services will be affected by the severe weather.
A yellow weather warning for ice and rain is in place on Monday 6 January, Some disruption to transport and services is possible.
We have 6,000 tonnes of grit and a fleet of eight gritters, to bolster a network of more than one thousand grit bins across the borough if the weather takes a turn for the worst.
A 65-strong team based at the council’s Lister Road depot keep more than 480 kilometres of road clear during severe weather.
There could be some slight disruption on Monday 6 January due to icy conditions on the roads. If you are due a collection today, please leave your waste at the kerbside as normal.
