Dudley Council works hard to ensure its services continue to run during the autumn and winter period. However, some services will be affected by the severe weather. Weather warnings are currently in place for flooding in parts of the borough and residents are advised to be on alert in the affected areas.

We have 6,000 tonnes of grit and a fleet of eight gritters, to bolster a network of more than one thousand grit bins across the borough if the weather takes a turn for the worst.

Below is a complete picture of how council services will be affected during the snow and ice. Remember, you can also keep up to date via our @dudleymbc twitter feed and 'dudley borough' facebook page.

You can also sign up to regular bulletins for information on the council's news, service, events and other information

Snowbusters

Our Snowbusters scheme offers free Snowbusters packs to anyone happy to help neighbours, or local communities to clear paths, walkways or drives of snow and ice during wintry weather. Packs are available via the council's winter warmth service on 01384 817086
