Bad weather

Residents should be aware that during periods of bad weather there could be some disruption to our collection service.

We always make every effort to carry out collections as normal. But unfortunately this is not always possible. Collections may need to be altered or delayed.

Should we experience any bad weather we will keep you informed on our website and social media channels.

Coronavirus and household waste

Personal waste such as used tissues, disposable cleaning cloths and face masks can be stored securely within disposable rubbish bags.

When being disposed of these bags should be placed into a second bag. They should also be tied securely. Where possible they should be put aside for at least 72 hours before being placed with your usual rubbish.

Other household waste can be disposed of as normal.
