The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has said that it will focus on leadership, governance and culture in inspections. In particular it will look at the effectiveness of the registered manager.
Whilst all registered managers have completed the required management qualification, we recognise the importance of providing managers with updates on important topics.
The Management Club is run by social care managers and provides events and briefings as well as offering networking opportunities with other managers. It is also the Skills for Care Registered Managers’ network for Dudley
Meetings are held every few months and previous topics have included recruiting the right people, Dignity in Care, the Care Act and Transitions from hospital.
